Also tomorrow night at Lowe Mill, the ninth annual Cigar Box Festival will kick off with a performance by  at the free Concert on the Dock, 6 to 9 p.m. The festival itself begins Saturday at 11 a.m. and will feature handcrafted instruments, an artist market and a Cigar Box Instrument Builders Competition. Build-your-own cigar box workshops and demonstrations, as well as lessons on playing cigar box guitars, will be held throughout the afternoon. Search units aren’t dog training clubs. Dogs and people that aren’t suited for the task aren’t allowed to progress. It’s never good news for potential handlers that their beloved dog isn’t going to become a hero.
